i managed to skate!! haha..... eh... fell down five times, last of which gave me a nasty scrape on my elbow.. but nevertheless, it was solid fun!

apart from that...... today i learnt something:

"whatever the Lord gives to you, He also has the right to take it away."

This really straightened up my perspective, and broadened up my mindset. I had no right to be so proud and condescending about something that was bestowed to me undeservingly.

I surprise myself by finding disappointment absent, but in place discovering liberation from the chains of pride.
