yes yes. i've an announcement to make.
i've attained sainthood.
hahahhaha... i did a really good deed today. a girl lost her polo ralph wallet at the pc fair.. had her ic cashcard ezlink blah blah all in there.. and you know what? i returned sent it back
right to her doorstep. in fact i just reached home from her place.. A pity she wasn't at home though.. i'd have loved to see her expression.. so i passed it to her father..
but in a way, it might be a good thing.. so that she can pass on the good deed done by a faceless stranger.. something like how
pay it forward works.. when i lost my wallet with my ic in it.. i was hoping so hard that the person who found it would return it to me.. but i never got it back. yah. even though i prayed like hell. owell. that reminds me i got one more question on my list for God when i see Him.
Today i was the cashier. I do not like being the cashier. Not a single bit. The customers come to make their payment in
throngs. Simply no time to breathe no time to sit no time to freak out, even though i did spend a decent bit of time freaking out silently.
OH. reminds me. there was this menopausal woman today who was about to pay at the counter with her very gentlemanly husband. ONE out of the stack of cd-roms she was about to buy was tagged as $16.50 instead of the correct price $25. So when i discovered it, i told them, aware that they might not want that particular piece of cd-rom now since it was more costly than they thought. oh MAN...... the woman flew into a babaric rage... she started raising her voice at my supervisor, saying "how can you tag it as one price and tell me at the counter it's another? this is about honoring your deal you know, you're not honoring your deal! how can you do this? don't tell me the price tags were switched by children out of mischief, nonsense. if it were there'd be a mark there, there's no mark! How can you do business like this? yadayada..(by this time i wasn't listening to her anymore.. her husband was looking at me pretty apologetically.. if i were him i would be too. in fact, i'd be utterly ashamed of being married to such an unreasonable woman). in the end she shoved the whole stack of cds back at us and said "I'M NOT BUYING THEM!" and stormed off. wow. maturity.
my boss just shrugged and said "don't care bout her lah. this kind of ppl is like that one." i mean, seriously, it was just one out of the whole stack of discs, and hello? haven't you heard of HUMAN ERROR?? zero tolerance for it? well hey, nobody's perfect. just look at yourself woman, you are SO SORRILY FAR from perfect. In fact, i think you were actually God's manufacturing defect. oh no, i'm sorry, God never makes mistakes. How about He gave his Quality Control Angels a day off on the day u were born? Aha. More like it.
Now why don't you just flush yourself into a toilet bowl, coz it'll take you to where you belong. For absolutely no charge at all. And yes, this time, the price is correct. I guarantee it. I take pride in honoring my deals.
maybe i haven't attained sainthood after all huh.
