hahah so you guys wanna know what happened to the job right? here it is, news of the day! it was WORSE than outdoor sales!!! omg me and siying so totally wanted to kill ourselves for attending it. and they were so shady about the whole thing... we kept asking them whether it was outdoor sales coz we made it verrry clear we did not want to do jobs of that nature.. and they just kept evading the question.. covering it up with all sorts of euphemisms and blah. so in the end, guess what it was?

ripping commission off charity donations!!!!!

my jaw just dropped. i mean.... they took 4 hours to finally tell me that this is what we were gonna do? so i asked them.. didnt you say we were supposed to be promoters for roadshows and exhibitions? and they were like "that's what we do when we have events jobs. when we don't, tHis is what we do." (so i suppose they dOnt have events jobs most of the time then)

oh well, but still... some of them seem like pretty nice and friendly people so i shan't slam them or anything.. i dont think their job is bad or anything even though natural human response to obtaining money in the name of charity would be negative. i mean, ultimately, they aRE still helping the needy. killing two birds with one stone. why not? but i just wish they had been more open and forthright about it in the first place..

now ON to happier things! i went shopping with siying today!! ok, i mean.. window shopping.. but still it was really fun hanging out with her and just talking coz i haven't spent much time with her in ages. and you know some things can be picked up where you left off? with her, things are like that.. we talked about everything and anything.. it was just great.

then met my bro and wei for dinner before the little parents-surprise. it was hilarious coz my bro and i couldnt get the place done up in time so we locked our parents out and they were peeping in through this small hole between the curtains... yeah so they saw us scurrying around like frantic monkeys. owellz. hahaha they did appreciate it though, so the effort paid off!

i'm going to find jobs with deyao tmr at international plaza ahahha i haven't given up yet! i have to get a job quick so i can buy that lovely necklace and embroidered bag i saw today at heeren!!!!!! yippee!
